We are not in London and avoided the burning trash can. Which was not in London, but at some outlying station, above ground.
We've been hanging out in Cambridge, lots to photograph there.
Met David's granddaughter, Holly, for a tour of a sculpture exhibit in one of the colleges. The catalog of what was there was a hoot, I'll have to write about it. Lots of art talk. Interesting that these sculptures can mean so much, but artists can't come up with a title beyond "stacked chairs" and such.
Ate at the Eagle were ww2 fighter pilots looked for beer and and love. Had the steak pie. Mostly pie, but chips were good as well as the gravy.
We hit the Fitzwilliam museum to keep out of the rain. More on that when I have a keyboard.
Saw Newton's apple tree, looked small for 400 years old. Lots of Asian tours going on. Foreign students started this week, locals next week.
Were back into town today. Wanted to see the Cam, take some more pictures.
Weather is rainy and gray today, good for pictures bad, for the punting!
Golf at the club tomorrow. A Texas scramble with David's pals.
Ok, others are stirring, more later.
Rich
